Product Model: FSR402:
FSR can be seen as a resistor, through the size of the pressure to change its resistance, the resistance (in ohms per unit Ω) depends on how much repression. These sensors are fairly low cost and easy to use, but they are rarely accurate. They sort is various, performance difference is only about 10%. So basically you use FSR, you should probably only expect to get a response range. Although the FSR can detect the weight, but choose them to get concrete data on the weight is impossible.
However, for most touch-sensitive applications, such as “how much” this will be squeezed or pushed, they are a good choice, because of the high-cost performance!
Parameter
Size: thick (12.5 mm) in diameter, 1/2 “for the active field
Resistance range: infinite/open (not pressure), 100 k Ω (light), 200 Ω (maximum pressure)
Load range: 0 to 20 pounds (0 to 100 Newton), evenly smear on the surface area of 0.125 square meters
Power supply: the use of less than 1mA current (depending on the ra/pull-down resistor and the power supply voltage)
As we’ve said, FSR makes resistance change with more and more pressure, when there is no pressure sensor looks like an infinite resistance (open), with the increase of pressure, the resistance decreased. The graph shows different pressure measurement sensor resistance values.(please note that the force is not in grams, but Newton) RFP thin-film pressure sensor dedicated resistance-voltage conversion module.
The resistance signal of the sensor is converted into an analog voltage signal or high and low levels. Product parameters:
Appearance size: 1.4*3.2cm (± 1mm)
Power supply: 3.3-5v
Output voltage range: 0-5v
Instructions for use:
1. VCC externally connects 3.3V-5V voltage (can be directly connected to 5v single-chip microcomputer or 3.3v single-chip microcomputer)
2. GND connects to GND
3. DO high and low-level output interface
4. AO analog output interface
