The main chip of the product is GY-213V-HDC1080 and GY-213V-HTU21D (the same sensor can be made with the SHT21 SI7021 chip). This I2C digital humidity sensor is quite accurate and intelligent instead of simpler humidity and temperature sensor-SHT15 circuit breaker, Its typical accuracy is ±4%, and the working range is optimized from 10% to 80% RH. Operations outside this range are still possible, but the accuracy may be reduced a bit. The typical accuracy of temperature output is -20—85°C±0.2°C.
The sensor chip has 2 address selection pins, so up to 4 can be shared on a single I2C bus. It is also 3-5V power supply and logic safe, so you don’t need any level shifter or voltage regulator to use with 5V or 3V microcontrollers.
It is a digital humidity sensor with an integrated temperature sensor, which provides excellent measurement accuracy at very low power consumption. HDC1080 operates in a wide range of supplies and is a low-cost, low-power alternative that can be used for competitive solutions in a variety of common applications. Humidity and temperature sensors are calibrated at the factory.
